TIGER Research Study
The practice will be starting recruitment for the TIGER study in the very near future.
This study is looking at the association between infantile eczema and food allergy.
- Participants must be between 3 months and 2 years with a diagnosis of eczema.
- They will be randomised to intervention or control.
- The intervention group will be seen by a research nurse for skin prick testing and according to the results will be given targeted dietary advice.
- Parents will need to fill in questionnaires about their child's eczema for the following 36 weeks.
All usual eczema treatments will continue.
The practice will be identifying eligible patients and sending invites. In the meantime, if you are eligible and interested in participating, please give your details to reception who will pass them to Dr Grimshaw.
