Greenway Practice Away Day - Aerospace!

A few of you may have realised the Practice was a little empty on Wednesday 3rd April. This was due to us having our first Practice Away Day of 2019. The aim of the day, is to get the Practice team together, for team building, group learning and training. It’s such an important part of the Greenway Team ethos of working together to give our patients the best dedicated health care. When the Practice team work better together, the more we can accomplish. Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organisational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.

“Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.” – Ryunosuke Satoro

The day was incredibly exciting. It was the Practice’s first ever physical AWAY day. Previously, we would have these in one of our meeting rooms here at Greenway Community Practice. However, this time we were treated to the opportunity  of attending the Aerospace Museum and even taking a tour inside Concorde! What an amazing experience we all had. Morale was lifted and even Dr.Cross posed for some pictures with the incredible aircraft.

The day consisted of a beautiful lunch, a fully packed meeting in one of the conference rooms in the museum, and a tour of Concorde. We took plenty of pictures and both Dr.Cross and Dr. Halsey had 2 desserts during the coffee break…

We can all say it was a very successful day, and has certainly helped to ‘oil the joints’ of the Greenway Team.
