Information for Patients Regarding Text Messaging

Unfortunately there was some confusion on Friday last week, regarding a text message sent to our patients. We would like to confirm this message was from the Practice and the link sent was secure.
Please be aware, text messaging will be an avenue of communication that we intend to utilise. This is due to us having the goal of becoming a ‘Paperless Practice’. Being a ‘Paperless Practice’ doesn’t mean we will be 100% paperless. Please be assured for those of you who don’t have the means of receiving computerised communications, you will still receive information in the form of letters. It is considered ‘Best Practice’ to have the goal of reducing the amount of paper we use and waste. This benefits the environment and helps to save NHS money.

If you have any questions regarding this please don’t hesitate to contact us.
