Chickenpox - Reminder for Parents


If you suspect your child has chickenpox it can be a very stressful. Chickenpox is common and mostly affects children. It usually gets better by itself within a week without needing to see a GP.

Symptoms can include:

  • A high temperature above 38C
  • Aches and pains, and generally feeling unwell
  • Loss of Appetite

DO NOT USE IBUPROFEN unless advised to do so by your doctor, as it may cause serious skin infections.
